The accelerator program in Austin will run for six months and will take advantage of coworking spaces at Austin’s Capital Factory. Those participating in the program will receive mentoring and advisory services from Oracle executives and other tech industry leaders, access to Oracle’s cutting-edge technology, and free credits to use Oracle Cloud services. Participants will also have a chance to connect with prospective investors and gain priority access to Oracle’s customer and partner base to build their own businesses.
Oracle is accepting applications to join the Austin program until August 7, 2018. The first cohort is expected to start in September.
The Oracle Startup Cloud Accelerator program began in Bangalore, India, in 2016 and has since expanded to Delhi, Mumbai, Singapore, Tel Aviv, Paris, Bristol, and Sao Paulo. The Austin accelerator is Oracle’s first in the U.S.
