Oracle Challenger Series Expands to Houston

The Oracle Challenger Series continues to expand with the addition of a new tournament in Houston, Texas. The fourth Oracle Challenger Series tournament will take place at the George R. Brown Tennis Center at Rice University on November 10-18, 2018.

Like previous events in the Challenger Series, this tournament will partner with the men’s Association of Tennis Professionals and the Women’s Tennis Association tours to offer $150,000 in prize money for each tour. Both the men’s and the women’s draws will feature 32 singles players and 16 qualifying players, as well as 16 doubles teams.

Oracle CEO Mark Hurd noted, “Houston is a terrific addition to the Oracle Challenger Series…Oracle is committed to creating more Challenger events to give the nation’s best players the opportunities to be successful.”
