In a preview of his Oracle OpenWorld 2015 keynote, Mark Hurd discusses platform technology, the integration of cloud and on-premise technology, and focusing systems on customer needs. Mark notes a growing desire among customers for their public cloud and data center deployments to work similarly. Recognizing that the developer test market is making a shift to the cloud, CIOs are looking to consolidate systems by moving everything to the cloud.
Oracle OpenWorld is one of the largest annual enterprise technology conferences in the world, featuring keynotes from Oracle executives as well as thousands of informational sessions, tech demos, and events from industry members.

Oracle OpenWorld 2015 was held in San Francisco for five days starting on October 25th. The event took place in downtown San Francisco, with the conference held at Moscone Center. With learning sessions and speaker panels during the day and a customer appreciation event in the evening, featuring special musical performances.
