Global Growth and New AI Capabilities Showcased at NetSuite’s SuiteWorld18

At last year’s SuiteWorld, NetSuite’s customer event, Oracle CEO Mark Hurd noted that global expansion and increased R&D would be key objectives for NetSuite in FY18. Recent announcements at SuiteWorld18 in Las Vegas, April 23 to 26, showcased NetSuite’s progress in realizing Hurd’s vision for its customers.

We’ve kept the NetSuite brand,” Hurd stated at SuiteWorld18. “We think it has tremendous brand value and we’re using Oracle’s global scale to bring NetSuite into more countries.”

Focusing on international growth, NetSuite announced localization and customer support for six new countries: Germany, France, China, Japan, Brazil, and Mexico. This global expansion comes after a record year of success for the company, as it retains existing customers, attracts new ones, and increases customer satisfaction rates. NetSuite has also seen strong employee retention in the past year, resulting in an overall consistent experience for NetSuite customers.

NetSuite applications are also receiving an infusion of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. After pioneering autonomous tuning, updating, and patching in the Oracle Autonomous Database Warehouse Cloud, Oracle is bringing AI features to NetSuite as well, integrating the technology into NetSuite’s ERP and commerce applications. Hurd noted the increased efficiency AI can bring to ERP systems in a recent discussion with Ray Wang of Constellation Research, describing advances in automated reporting and compliance.
